INFO:Leporati was a wing-half, usually on the right but equally capable on the left. He spent his entire career at Casale from 1929 to 1943, making 211 appearances and scoring one goal. Leporati was a versatile and tenacious player, gifted with determination and the ability to close the gaps, break the opposition's attacks and distribute the ball with accurate long balls to the wingers. Although he only scored one goal, he possessed a fairly powerful shot. Because of that, he occasionally took free kicks. He suffered the attacks of fast and skilled players. Furthermore, his performance often wasn't good when he was under pressure and he could get himself discourage easily. In a match against Bologna, for example, he was dribbled by Reguzzoni who then scored, and Leporati suffered psychologically for the rest of the game. In another match, he was supposed to give his goalkeeper an easy back pass to avoid the pressing from the strikers, but instead, his pass was weak and almost put the goalkeeper in trouble.
QUOTES:Quote:
"Casale takes a free kick from 20 meters. Leporati hits the ball and Cavanna saves it. Both shot and save were formidable"
Quote:
"Reguzzoni's rapid run can't be stopped by Leporati. The rossoblu player shoots and scores. [...] Right-half Leporati got himself discouraged so much following the first goal to the point that Bologna's left-winger Reguzzoni could threat Casale's goal as much as he wanted"
Quote:
"Leporati and Volta were versatile, determined, tenacious, firm in closing every gap and continuously distributing the ball forward as much as breaking the opposition's attacks"
Quote:
"Leporati assists Isacco with a golden pass"
Quote:
"Leporati threatens his own goal with a weak pass to his goalkeeper"
