Defence MindedINFO:Pescini was a full-back. Very young, he debuted in Serie A with Livorno in 1930, appearing in 28 matches and forming a very good defence with Gino Corsini. He stayed with the
Amaranto in Serie B, playing 58 matches in two seasons and gaining a Serie A promotion. Unfortunately he only played 3 matches in 1933-34 due to bad behavior. He was sold to Lucchese where he played four great seasons in Serie A and Serie B. He then had a downfall when his physique didn't let him play at high levels anymore. He played a total of 112 games for Lucchese until 1940, when he was sold to Ternana (he scored here his only goal). He retired in 1943.
Pescini was a tough fighting defender. His tasks were stopping the opponents and make clearances. Therefore he needed only physical strength and interception ability, characteristics he had plentifully. Sometimes his worry for making a clearance as fast as he could made him cause penalties, either with a tackle or touching the ball with the hand.
