INFO:Bromilow was a left-half. He spent his entire career at Liverpool, making 375 appearances from 1919 to 1930, scoring 11 goals. He was team captain in the 1928-29 season. He capped for England in 5 occasions. Considered one of the best half backs in the country at the time, he formed an excellent midfield with Jock McNab and Walter Wadsworth. Even though Bromilow was more gentle, creative, and better in the dribbling than his two teammates, he was equally effective in his defensive work. In fact, he possessed muscular strength, and his tackling was accurate in the timing. He was the brain of the team as he would distribute the ball to his forwards once he had regained its possession. On top of that, no other half back could play the ball with a greater effect than him. He didn't dislike pushing forward, occasionally delivering nice shots with good power.
