Scrivano was a left-back. He spent his entire career at Casale, making 85 appearances from 1910 to 1915 and 2 more in the 1919-20 season. He was a starter throughout the entire 1913-14 Italian championship winning season.
The least technically gifted player of Casale's back-line, Scrivano was though strong and in possession of a good jump. Therefore, he was remarkably strong in the air, both defensively and offensively, although he never scored. He had great defensive skill and powerful clearance to protect his goal. He was probably quick enough as he could make short sprints to intercept dangerous passes.
