INFO:
Parodi was a half-back. His career started in 1910 at Casale where he played until 1915, making 75 appearances, scoring 2 goals and winning the 1913-14 Italian championship. He was loaned to Milanese in 1918-19 and sold to Pro Vercelli one year later. He spent four seasons with Pro Vercelli until his retirement in 1923, playing 84 matches, scoring 2 goals and winning two more Italian championships. He capped for Italy 4 times.
A consistent midfielder, Parodi was mainly focused on his defensive duties, although he scored a few goals. A wing-half at Casale and more a centre-half at Pro Vercelli, he was known for being a tenacious, tough, powerful and hard tackler. He never wasted any time in stopping his opponents with a physical challenge, often hurting them in the process, although he never intended to do it on purpose. He was even sent off following a clash with an opponent during a match against Pro Vercelli. Parodi was a player of quantity rather than quality but he still possessed confident technical skill and average passing, especially when sending long balls to his forwards. He took free kicks occasionally.

QUOTES:
Spoiler: show
Quote:
"Corna and Parodi collide and Casale's player is sent off, maybe too harshly, for the action considered violent and dangerous. The absence of this very good player will undoubtedly be a handicap for Casale players who won't be much of a threat anymore for Pro Vercelli's goalkeeper"

Quote:
"Casale's first goal came when Genoa players were forced to play with ten men due to Walsingham temporary injury following a painful collision with Parodi"
