INFO:Lauro was a right half and right back. He spent most of his career at Alessandria from 1921 to 1931, making 235 appearances, scoring 3 goals and forming an amazing midfield alongside Luigi Bertolini and Giuseppe Gandini. He played also for Cagliari, Torres and Piombino, retiring in 1938. Mainly right half and sometimes used as emergency right back, Lauro contributed to his team with heart and energy. Rough and firm in the tackles, he wasn't always flawless and alternated great things with huge mistakes. Good at sweeping the ball away but usually too rushed, he sometimes managed to make a correct clearance while other times he sent the ball in corner despite having better options. Very capable in the distribution, even first time, he delivered accurate through passes or crosses from the back, sometimes from free kick. Gifted with a powerful right-footed shot, he occasionally went up during a corner to shoot on goal when he received the ball.
