Schienoni was a left back. He spent his almost entire career at Milan, making 212 appearances from 1924 to 1933. He retired in 1935 after a short experience at Vigevanesi. Schienoni was a short defender with a strong build. He was physically and athletically gifted, tenacious and hard in the tackle. He gave his best when the match was heated. He was very capable in the air, taking advantage of his great leap to intercept all high balls. He didn't possess good technique, was slow and clumsy in the movements but he was extremely efficient as he never wasted time to sweep the ball away. He was focused only in defending as he never scored a goal. Instead, he fought on every ball until the last minute.
