Jan Kosek was former Czechoslovak footballer and probably the best Czechoslovak player in early of the century alongside Vaclav Pilat. Kosek was a striker with very full speed (almost same fast with Bican), agile and fast with or without the ball. But his main weapon was a powerful bomb shot. He can scored goals from any positions and very good volley shot. He also had good dribbling skills. Statistics say that he played 296 games and put them in 804 goals, of which Slavia played 229 matches and scored 666 goals. How about it then press wrote: "His long shoot remains unrivaled."
