INFO:Parry was a right-half. He had his best seasons at Liverpool, where he made 221 appearances from 1900 to 1909, scoring 4 goals. He retired in 1914 after some seasons in South Africa and in English lower leagues. He capped for Wales in 16 occasions during his time as Liverpool player.
Parry possessed a strong physique, and was capable of remaining in good condition for many years. Also, he was consistent year by year. His defensive play was very clever as he could make twists and turns with the forward, tangle him with his long legs, and snatch the ball off him even when he had to tackle from the back or a difficult position. Not only he was a capable tackler, he was also effective offensively as he assisted his forwards with well-placed passes. His excessive enthusiasm though likely was a fault if his temperament, although he was often unfairly penalised for his style of intervention and daring tactics of gaining possession of the ball.
