INFO:
McNab was a right-half. He spent almost his entire career at Liverpool, where he made 226 appearances from 1920 to 1928, scoring 6 goals. He retired in 1930 after two seasons at Queens Park Rangers. He capped for Scotland once in 1923. Distinguished for his tall figure, McNab was a defensive player, gifted with great determination, and enough strength to resist to physical challenges and add weight to the half back line. He had a physique so robust that his opponents tumbled down by themselves when they barged into him. He sometimes got overly excited, and was once sent off for kicking a Newcastle player on 14 February 1925. Due to his physical skills, he earned the nickname “The stonewall half-back”. Other than that, he was quite tricky as he could overcome the pressing opponent with fine dribbling, and possessed a powerful shot also first time.
