INFO:Silvestri was a left-winger and occasionally inside-left. His career started in 1922 at Pro Livorno where he spent the majority of his career, making 255 appearances and scoring 65 goals until 1934. He then played for Milan, Sampierdarenese and Empoli. He retired in 1938.
One of Livorno's key players alongside Mario Magnozzi during the 1920s, Silvestri and his teammate were the ones with the task to organise the attack. Silvestri possessed great speed, solid dribbling and a good shot, usually from favourable positions. Not prolific as teammates like Magnozzi, Bruno Maini and Mario Palandri, Silvestri was though a solid passer and crosser. Due to his style of play, he was one of Livorno's most dangerous players and he usually was marked by the opposition's best defender. When he wasn't able to find enough space to move during the match, Magnozzi was forced to double duty.
