INFO:

The best ever Hearts player, one of the best Scottish players, and arguably the best player of the 1900-1910 decade. Bobby Walker was an amazingly talented inside forward known for his incredible dribbling ability and excellent passing, while also being a very good scorer himself. He was not gifted with great physical attributes, being small and lacking real pace, but he was very agile and could squeeze his way out of any tight space. His footwork was legendary and he was considered the most beautiful player of his era, this type of football with a total focus on skill and intelligence was known as "Walkerism". In terms of natural ability, he was the leading player of his era. Maybe he didn't score as many goals as Bloomer or dominate for as long as Meredith, but nobody else at the time combined technique, playmaking and scoring like him. One of the gods of British football, it's a shame his name is only found in history books now.
