But his main weapon was ferocious shot with whom he used to break the goal net. Johansson (along with Hanna Ljungberg) the only player in the headlines that have made 39 goals in the same season, a feat he accomplished in 21 games during the season (1924/1925). He is the men's player who scored the most goals in one season. Johansson played in clubs Fässbergs IF, IFK Gothenburg and Gårda BK. He began his career in Surte IS as a youth but then went to Fässbergs IF but left this club when it had refused to take part in the first season of fotbollsallvenskan. Then he played in IFK Gothenburg between 1924 and 1933. He finished his career by playing in Garda BK in the 1930s did eight seasons in allvenskan until 1936. Johansson ranks second in IFK Gothenburg internal scorer of all time after Torbjorn Nilsson with 329 goals in 277 matches. Total did Johansson 182 premier league goals for IFK Gothenburg and Gårda BK. He also made 16 caps but in these he was less successful. The national team debut against Finland, he did, however, all four goals in a match that ended 4-0. Johansson also played hockey in Surte IS, later Surte SK / Ale-Surte BK. Just like in football was his strength when he played hockey his hard shot. Nickname Black-Filip he received because of his thick, black hair.
