Pešek was a very hard-working player with amazing fighting spirit. He was very useful in defensive lines with his leadership and his extraordinary tackle became he was very difficult to pass. He was member of Czechoslovakian team at 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics and played 44 times and scored 1 goal in his national team. On club level he played 727 games for Sparta Prague and scored 28 goals.
