Born 23 January 1904. in Krapina, died first October 1975. in Zagreb.

The best Yugoslav center-half classical type between the two world wars. As versatile a good player, because of the constant running, high mobility and exceptional endurance, he got the nickname "Nurmi". He run 100 meters in 11,0 seconds, meanwhile his record in High Jump was 172 cm.

He played for all four major Zagreb club before the Second World War. He started in the youth team HAŠK 1919. with the famous Czechoslovak coach Frantisek Kozeluh and for the team, played with great success until 1927, when he moved to Concordia HŠK in new jersey 1930. Yugoslavia won the championship. Since 1934. played for HŠK Citizen, a career is finished 1939. as a player and coach SOK Victoria, where he played and 1932-1934. year. This remains the only player who has played for all four leading clubs in Zagreb at that time.

Between the 1924. and 1935. played for the national team Zagreb to official statistics, 22 games, but he believes it is certainly played about 75! Twice he played for the 'B' team (1927-1928), a national team jersey dress is 29 times, scoring one goal (against Romania 2-1 in Belgrade in 1930). He made his debut on 28 October, 1925.
