Attack MindedINFO:Carnevali was an inside forward who could play also as winger. He played for several clubs including Palermo, Padova and Reggiana but he had the best seasons in Modena, where he played from 1926 to 1934 and between 1937 and 1939. He appeared over 140 times for the
Gialloblu, scoring around 50 goals − most of them in his first years.
Carnevali was a very promising player, gifted with first class technique and great tactical intelligence. His shots had good power that made him dangerous from the distance. He was renowned for his sprint and his characteristic way of running with the head down. Unfortunately he had two important weaknesses: when he was in a great day he could be really dangerous for the defence but many times he wasn't in good condition or showed not to have good mentality; he had a very thin physique that made him difficult to play on heavy fields because he was injury prone − in fact he had to leave the field several times throughout the match.
