Italian but born in Brazil, Ceria was a right winger who played 114 matches and scored 20 goals for Pro Vercelli from 1920 to 1930. He played also 14 games for Biellese in two spells, 1919-20 and 1928-29.
Ceria's main position was winger but his versatility and very good technique made him able to play as inside forward as well. He wasn't a very prolific striker, in fact he set up the play, dribbled well and when he reached the end of the field, he delivered very accurate and measured crosses in the box, also from free kick. His shots weren't powerful but they could be insidious from a certain distance.
