Ferraro was a centre forward who played for Pro Vercelli from 1909 to 1913. He wasn't immediately a first choice but he became a regular starter from the 1910-11 season. No personal info about him are known. He's one of the few important Pro Vercelli players who didn't cap for Italy.
Ferraro was a small player, always ready to receive the ball from the wingers or inside-forwards. Despite being the last attacker of the team, he showed unselfishness and a good passing ability, making several assists.
