Sbrana was a winger and he's considered one of the most important players in Pisa history. He was the first great goleador of the team with 71 goals in 98 matches from 1920 to 1925. He was part of the squad that almost won the Italian scudetto in 1920-21.
Sbrana was a prolific scorer, gifted with a powerful and shot. He was the official piece taker, in fact he scored many penalties and took corners to use his good crossing ability in his advantage. He wasn't tall and probably didn't have much strength because he gained most penalties whenever he tried to challenge an opponent and was tackled down by him. His very high scoring rate might make think that he was an unfailing finalizer. However he shot many times in every match and missed most of the goals, especially the easiest ones.
