Datsakorn is a central or attacking midfielder. His career began in 1999 at Rajpracha. He transferred the following season to BEC Tero Sasana, where he played 77 matches, scored 18 goals, won a Thai Premier League and a Kor Royal Cup. He left in 2006 ─ he played on loan for Kaiserslautern reserve team in 2001-02. After three years in Vietnam at Hoàng Anh Gia Lai, he joined Muangthong United, where he had his most prolific experience, scoring 22 times in 172 appearances from 2010 to 2016, winning three Thai Leagues, a Kor Royal Cup and a Thai League Cup. He actually competes in the Thai third division. He gained 100 caps for Thailand and scored 12 goals.
Datsakorn is a skillful player, who stands out in the midfield. He possesses decent speed, superb ball control and excellent passing ability. In fact, he's a good playmaker who can place accurate balls, especially with fast crosses either during active play or from set piece. Capable with both feet, he's renowned for his deadly free kicks and threatening long range shots. He can deliver powerful and curled shots also first time or using the outside. He likes to surge forward towards the goal when he has space.
