Neda is a centre back, capable of playing as left back. He spent the majority of his career at Qadsia, where he made 310 appearances from 2001 to 2018, scoring 95 goals. However, he was loaned to Qatari team Al-Wakrah in 2004-05, Saudi teams Al-Nassr in 2006, Al-Shabab in 2010-11, Al-Orobah in 2014-15 and Kuwaiti team Al-Salmiya in 2015-16. He signed definitely for Al-Salmiya in 2019. He capped for Kuwait 125 times, scoring 20 goals.
Regarded in his prime as one of the best defenders in the Arab Gulf, Neda has distinguished himself for his long range shots and specialty in scoring from free kick with his left-foot. He doesn't have remarkable technical skills but he can distribute the ball well, especially with accurate long passes from the back. In terms of defence, he relies on his strength rather than his defensive skills. He's not particularly fast but can make fine sprints to reach an opponent and snatch the ball with a sliding tackle.
