Nawaf Al-Abed is a Saudi player best known for his decade at Al-Hilal with whom he won many trophies. He wasn't always a regular starter but played over 250 games and had some seasons where he was one of the most important players in the team. He's an agile and tricky player, usually playing in the middle but often playing on both wings, similar to Salem Al-Dosari in the way he floats around the attacking areas, but less direct in threatening the goal. He's a skilled dribbler who loves to take people on, often creating dangerous situations, but he doesn't have some great passing or scoring instinct to always take advantage, although he has a pretty powerful shot and scored some nice goals over his career. He tries some ambitious things that don't always work out which harms his consistency. When he's on form he's a delight to watch and can unlock some tough defences with his unpredictable style of play. With the Saudi national team he's earned over 50 caps and played at the 2022 World Cup.
