Caprari is a secondary striker or winger, capable of playing also as centre forward. His career began at Roma in 2010. He spent most of his career at Pescara, playing 158 matches and scoring 32 goals from 2012 to 2017. He then transferred to Sampdoria, where he made 81 appearances from 2017 to 2020, scoring 17 times. After short loans at Parma and Benevento, he joined Hellas Verona in 2021 again on loan.
Caprari as a youngster was a promising player but didn't live up to the expectations. He's right-footed but accurate with the left foot too, possesses remarkable speed, agility, technique, dribbling and can deliver threatening long range curled shots. He gives troubles to the opposing defenders mainly with his sudden accelerations. Despite having a good vision of the game, he's far from being unselfish since he often looks for the personal action. However, he sometimes looks for a cross after ovecoming an opponent, espcially when he acts as winger. Gifted with spirit of sacrifice, he also helps during the defensive phase. He lacks of strength and offensive aggression near the goal, resulting in low efficiency inside the box.
