I saw it there, although It's strange too for me, It's an Spanish web (even, It's from Catalunya, the region of Barcelona and creators are fan of Barça, they work for Sport which is a paper like AS, but in Cataluña)

Anyway, I'm sure about that 4-3-3 hasn't the same effect like in nowdays because before the tactics were too simply and the profile of defenders weren't the same, right now you can see fast CB (like David Luiz, or Sergio Ramos) who made the team better in the back and the standard profile of defenders in the past were "rude mans without too much talent" and normally they were slow

Well, don't trust the formations in that site, they are wrong most of the time. I only use it for the team rosters.

EDIT: It's more likely Barça played in 3-2-5 in those years, like this:
