Well Gurkenjoe, that's it from me regarding the Dresden legends. At least for now. So you can take over those younger generations if you want...
Anyway in case you'd like to complete this team, I'll give you the notes I took in my notebook for some players of this team which are pretty modest quality. And I've found official informations for height&weight of season '70-'71.
- Geyer, SB, WF, 184 cm, 80 kg, - big and strong guy, but clumsy with big lack of agility and needed an hours to reach some decent speed. But he was good tackler I must admit, always clean tackles. I read he was the striker also, I've always seen him playing in defence so I don't have a clue how was he like when playing in attack. Anyway when he played in defence, he never crosses the centre line...
- Helm, RB, LB, - one of the weakest parts of the team, he played in midfield sometimes, could support the attack with occassional decent crosses and ball control, solid pace but not much quality in general...
- Rau, SMF, AMF, 183 cm, 81 kg, - solid technician, had decent acceleration but on longer distances not so impressive, produced bad shots few times he was in scoring position, could make good cross from corners, in total he didn't show too much...
- Sachse, SS, WF, 172 cm, 63 kg - no doubt he was talented but lacked consistency, he could score great goal than next time he'd miss whole ball. He could send good cross, next time he'd send it out of play. But had solid pace, ball control and scored good amount of goals...
GK - Kallenbach, 182 cm, 82 kg - Meyer, 174 cm, 74 kg, Urbanek, 184 cm, 77 kg DF - Haustein, 178 cm, 73 kg - Kern, 186 cm, 75 kg, Hubert Ganzera, 176 cm, 70,5 kg MF - Ziegler, 176 cm, 75 kg - Hemp 168 cm, 65 kg ATT - Richter 172 cm, 64 kg, good crosses
