I understand Lambrughi in the first team for his role during the 2010s but he played almost entirely in Serie B, appearing only 6 times in the 2013-14 Serie A season before being loaned to Novara in January. Instead, I'd choose Lovagnini who was the starting left-back in the 1942-43 season (I'm not sure if Livorno was already using a 3-men defence) where the team finished 2nd placed. If it wasn't for the WW2 and a short loan to Fanfulla, he would've made more than 200 appearances, but he still came close to that number as he played four more Serie A seasons from 1945 to 1949. I'm missing some names in the reserves. Paolo Lami is considered one of Livorno's most legendary goalkeepers with over 200 matches from 1924 to 1937, including 90 in Serie A. Defender Plinio Paolini played nearly 200 games and scored a bit less than 30 goals throughout seven consecutive seasons in the Italian top division. Midfielder Andrea Luci, during the season that just ended, became the player with most games in Livorno's history. If Ibrahima Bakayoko is here (and shouldn't be, considering his merely 5 goals in 44 matches), I can see Paulinho having a spot in reserves too (56 goals in 184 matches). And lastly, title and logo should be changed. The club's name currently is US Livorno 1915 (a recall to the original foundation name) and here's the logo: Spoiler: show |
