Stan Hanson was goalkeeper not forward, Kevin Davies was mainly striker, Jim Cassidy was Scottish and Gareth Williams was Welsh.
Defenders Scott Green and Alan Stubbs (286 and 256 caps during the 90s), midfielders Peter Reid (over 200 matches and soon to be international player, I think he deserves to be mentioned, also considering the lack of midfielders here), Iván Campo (194 caps and has been an internation player) and Billy Jennings (287 caps), strikers Dennis Stevens (310 caps and 101 goals) and Michael Ricketts (112 caps and 46 goals plus one cap for England during his time with Bolton) might be added to reserves.

Malcolm Barrass (291 apps) deserves a place in the main team, perhaps to replace Steve Thompson, who spent most of his career with the Whites in 2nd & 3rd tier (333 apps)

Sorry but this line-up looks more like an era team. Bolton had its most successful period in the 1920s, then the 1950s and the 2000s. This starting XI lacks of old legends.
Only Jääskeläinen is worthy of a spot. How exactly did Candela and Ba contribute to Bolton's history to deserve not just a spot in the team but in the best XI?

You're right, but I really liked this team because I chose it in the Championship Manager game. This team was called the ''Galacticos'' of Reebok, because it was an investment to create a team with talent and important players in the end of career (Hierro, Djorkaeff, Candela) or from important clubs (N'gotty and Ba from Milan ac for example). It's a iconic club for me in the 2001-2002.
