I wouldn't have removed August Klingler here, he may have played only one season for them but in that season he netted 32 goals and was their best player when they reached Round of 32 of the German Championship (after a double by Klingler in the previous round against Kickers Offenbach), their best ever result in that competition. Edit: Other names who could be here: Jean-Marc Diringer (long time LB of the club in the 80s and 90s, 298 matches), Eric Colling (RB, 190 matches in the 90s), Serge Duvernois (RB, 182 matches during the 80s), Maurice Danelon (defender who spent his whole career at the club in the 70s and early 80s). |
