I'd take out Rivera, move Manu del Moral forward as a CF/SS and put Belenguer, to form a 5-3-2 formation with Angelín, Cata Díaz & Belenguer as CB's.

Furthermore, Belenguer could be named as second captain.

Many players who are in AS teams started in Lower Leagues. So there are Second Divisions, such as Serie B, Segunda División or Championship which are better than First Leagues of other countries.

Well, there are definitely others words to describe it, maybe i should had used others words.

But the point is pretty clear: first division perfomances should be one of the primaries standards.

If Cosmin Contra is in first team here, then I don't understand why Esteban Granero and Ruben de la Red are missing here. Both of them were crucial players of Getafe's fantastic 2007-08 team (Copa del Rey finalist + UEFA Cup Quarter Finalist) and deserve their spot among the reserves for sure.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't always add players who didn't play many matches when I have enough alternatives. However I guess you're right they deserve a place. I added both to reserves.

Bordalás can be the manager, he's taken Getafe to new heights. I guess a few players from the current team can be considered for the first team, like Jorge Molina and Ángel Rodriguez. They could probably replace Miku and Rivera. Damian Suarez and Djene Dakonam could be considered for first team too. This current team is probably the best in Getafe's history, even more so if they continue in the Europa League; if there wasn't a break because of the virus they could very well still have been challenging for a CL spot.

I totally agree. Last year would've been enough but this year they're even repeating themselves.
Team updated. I made the changes suggested by Stuart, replaced Míchel with Mané due to a lack of proper left-backs and added in reserves a few players from Getafe C.F. previous club, Getafe Deportivo. I also believe that players like David Soria, Nemanja Maksimović, Francisco Portillo and Jaime Mata, may make to the first team as well in a year if they stay at Getafe and have another season at such level.
