Dukla Praha Prague was a successful military football club traditionally associated with the Prague Juliska stadium. Czechoslovakia won eleven league titles and nine Czechoslovak Cups. In the 1967-68 season, played semi Dukla European Champions, in the semi-finals of the Cup Winners 1986-87 and has also achieved great success in the America's Cup in New York, which has won four in a row from 1961-1964. The club, which later became famous as Dukla Praha, originated in the attic of the Czechoslovak Army in 1948, and originally bore the name of ATK Praha (Army Physical Training Club). In the first league season ATK lost to later champion SK Slavia Praha 2:8, but still finished in eighth place out of 14 participants.
