Formation is wrong. England NT played WM since at least 15 years.

Yep, with Franklin as centre half, Wright as right half and Dickinson as left half. Nicholson only played 1 game for England compared to Dickinson’s 48 so I’m not sure why he’d be in the starting XI here. The most basic level of research could have solved these issues.

That's what can happen with taking the exact info of some random guys from a debatable forum like Big Soccer without digging more into the matter.

Why should you do such weird things as research when you can simply copy stuff? It's the same story again and again..

I have corrected the formation, I apologize if I have not informed myself correctly.

You could use Mortensen as a AM and Tommy Lawton as CF. Nat Lofthouse as backup CF.

Williams (too bad Swift retired in 49)
Ramsey, Franklin, Aston (also too bad Hardwick got injuried, he as suppoused to be LB and captain)
Wright, Dickinson
Mannion, Mortensen
Finney, Lawton, Matthews

reserves:
GK
Scott, Chilton (United, used to be CB, changed for CH), Eckersley
Hughes, Mercer
Rowley, Shackleton
Mitten, Lofthouse, Milburn
