The captain should definitely be Rijkaard, then Gullit.

Of course Rijkaard was a solid captain for Ajax in his last playing years but if you ask any of the Dutch who they remember as a great captain, then they will certainly go for Gullit who skippered the NT through their second best ever era (and even to their only title) and not for Rijkaard. That isn't meant disrespectful towards Rijkaard but if there's one iconic captain from this selection here, it's certainly Gullit.

Yeah, I chose Gullit because he was a more iconic captain and also captain during the 1988 UEFA Euro.
