Where is Gravesen and Cassano ?

In the same place as Walter Samuel, Danilo, Adebayor and Faubert

Varane, Navas and maybe Modrić could all be considered to be starters in this team.

You can't be serious if you actually consider to replace Santamaria or Stielike with Varane..

Yeah I wouldn't change the starting XI, but Varane can replace Ruggeri, Kroos can replace Netzer and Benzema can replace Valdano or Suker in first team for sure.

If you really want to change the first XI, you could put Stielike at DMF, and put Varane next to Santamaria...

For Stielike yes, i made the squad before Varane had a real significant contribution in the european conquests + i win a more threatening player for set pieces.

The players who probably should be displaced to reserves are Ronaldo, Šuker and Netzer.

Ah, now that i finally remenber, Breitner is not a starter, and he could have played in both flanks, so Ruggeri is not needed anymore.


I thinking to change the starting line up with Makélélé and Redondo, Kopa out for Redondo, also i'm looking a way to crack the attacking force with Zidane, di Stéfano, C. Ronaldo and Puskas upfront.

With all respect but Makelele's contribution to RM history is nowhere close to Stielike. We're speaking about a player who was a backbone of RM for seven seasons, an undisputed icon and one of the best DMs in the world in his prime. There's no way that those two French men can both be in the squad while Stielike is ignored here despite beeing a better DMF + leaving a way bigger mark at Madrid. He may have not won European cup but he's certainly a much greater legend than Makelele ever will be..

That defence looks ugly!

Too bad we haven't had any foreign world class defender like Ramos or Hierro. Cannavaro and Varane is fine but never got to the heights as in their NT career.

I would switch Benzema with Mijatovic, Zamorano or Ríal though. Benzema has from the first day gone on borrowed time from us Madristas. Never liked him and scores to little goals....

Fat Ronaldo also can be a goner. Played what, 2-3 mediocre seasons and never accomplished anything. Would rather have one of the three I mentioned before....

What's the bigger height in your NT other than winning the most 'recognizable' international tournament in football as one of your NT key players like Varane and Cannavaro did?

That's what I'm saying. They were/are great in the NT, but not so good in Real....

Guess Courtois is already worth to be mentioned in reserves, same as Militão and Mendy.
