Aleksandar KOLAROV should be in the reserves here.. Regarding best XI, I'd also suggest to swap Acimovic and Sekularac with Boskov and Mitic, IMO they both were better players than the other two..

Galic played primarily in the middle (although he could play on the wing as well).. He surely deserves his place here, IMO he was even better (at least more complete) striker than Marjanovic..

Yes, Galic deserves a place. My mistake.

He was born in Milosavci (city whose population is almost entirely of Serbian origin), grew up in Serbia and spent almost his whole career (except for his stint at Olympiacos) at Serbian clubs. I don't think that he considers himself Bosnian, no matter if his place of birth is nowadays part of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Milos, feel free to correct me if I've told things wrong).

Now we talk about Bosnian-Serbian. Then it's still a bit baffling to me that Ivan Curkovic is still considered Bosnian, even though he has set his allegiance to Serbia (in he was head of both their Olympic committee and head of the football association).

So what? Curkovic was born in Mostar (a city whose population was a mix of Croats, Bosnians and Serbs until the Yugoslav wars, unlike Milosavci that always was populated almost entirely by Serbs), spent the first twenty years of his life at this city, made his professional debut for Velez Mostar and also played four years for them, so I don't see the problem with him considered Bosnian in his player set.

So what? When he was born Mostar was part of the nazi puppet state of Croatia, he played 8 years in Partizan Belgrade and where their president for almost 17 years (remind you, he was president in the club under the civil war, I don't think a Bosnian had been able to keep a position like that in Serbia back in those years)... But yeah, it's always hard when we discuss former Yugoslavian players and their alliances.

As for the national teams of Bosnia, Slovenia, etc, a division should be made between the Serbian players who played in Yugoslavia and those who played in the Serbian national team.
