Gylfi SIGURÐSSON needs to be here, he's the best player from Iceland since many years and his performances have been very good so far. If Iceland manages to qualify for Euro 2016, we could even consider to add him to first team..

As the current generation was the first one to qualify for a major tournament, some players should be added here: Kolbeinn Sigþórsson, Jóhann Guðmundsson, Aron Gunnarsson, Birkir Sævarsson and Alfreð Finnbogason should be in reserves while Gylfi Sigurðsson needs to be in first team here..

You sure that only 1 player from the Euro squad should be in the first squad? (Gudjohnsen is already there in a personal way)? Some of these guys played in the amateur times like Ríkharður Jónsson or Albert Guðmundsson (This man i think, didn't even play for his NT, so his place here is odd) he may be one of the greatest, but if he didn't play for the NT (And if he did, then it should the amateur NT), he has no place in here..

Anyway I don't see a problem with Gudmundsson in the first team here, he's one of Iceland's best footballers ever (+ had big impact on Icelandic football) and as they didn't have so many great footballers, he surely deserves his place here. Same goes for Jónsson who is considered one of the greatest Icelandic footballers.. From the current team Gylfi Sigurdsson, Gunnarsson, Sigþórsson and Ragnar Sigurðsson should be in the first team for now, Finnbogason, Bjarnason, Johann Guðmundsson, Halldórsson & Sævarsson should be in the reserves..

This team needs an update with many of the current "Golden Generation" to be included Ragnar Sigurðsson, Aron Gunnarson, Kári Árnason, Kolbeinn Sigþórsson, Gylfi Sigurðsson and Alfreð Finnbogason among others.

Well... I would like to help, but I have virtually no knowledge on Iceland football story. All I know is that their best generation was that one from 2016-2018, so I believe most of the players should have been from there.

Guys like Albert Guðmundsson and Ríkharður Jónsson would make sense in the first team, especially the latter since Guðmundsson didn't cap much for Iceland. But in my opinion the most recent generation surpassed both.
