Seems like a natural cycle that Barca undergoes a catastrophic decline every 20 years. They'll be lucky if the manage to win some national silverware during the next 2-3 seasons. StuartBannigan wrote: This Barca team reminds me of the ones from 2000-2003, just completely lacking in quality in all areas of the pitch, failed expensive signings and financial mismanagement. Of the players on the pitch tonight, the only ones good enough to be key players in the future are Frenkie, Depay, Pedri and Araujo. If they're not careful they'll end up like 2010s Milan. + Ansu with Ter Stegen as skipper lol. gurkenjoe93 wrote: 0:3, yet another domination against Barca. You guys needed a new Spanish sandbag club, the previous one, managed to shrug off some past frustrations with some unscrupulous help..

8 goals and 7 assists in 6 league games is insane. I thought he would be worse when Ronaldo left but he's arguably been better than Cristiano since then.

Asensio proved today that he's the best lefty player in the world too.

I may remind you that those awards are based on popularity and won titles, not indivual performances Lewy has dominated defences around Europe for two years now and yet he got less votes than Messi (don't know how people can seriously consider Messi on the same level as Lewy nowadays, it's not even close), de Bruyne and Kanté at the UEFA Best Player award. Benz didn't even make the Top 10 during RMs CL hattrick, unfortunately his image costed him votes + people rather voted for the Portuguese egomaniac instead of the guys who often made the work for him.

I don't know if anyone uses this to talk about Brazilian football, but man, I didn't expect Atlético Mineiro to lose like he lost yesterday.

Hey everyone, anyone thought that last night Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid got some referee help against Sheriff and Milan?

The away goal is more of an artifice to speed up TV broadcasts than a fair tie-breaker. Palmeiras won yesterday with a taste of defeat. Now it's time to wait and see how it goes in a single game final against a team that isn't a dark horse (since Flamengo will probably win today).
