While it was good to have a glimpse of "Bayern-Dusel" once again after long time, I'm more relieved than happy after "surviving" that game. Hats off to Celtic, that was the best performance from a Scottish team in EC since many years (not just today, their campaign in general). Once again Kim/Rapha proved that they're not mentally stable enough for the big games, in general our defending is way too risky. Our offensive wasn't that bad but IMO we still waste way too many chances. Let's face it: If Kane scores the 1:0 in 45th minute, we'll probably win the game. On the other hand Celtic should have converted at least one of those two chances in the first half, then the game could have went their way as well.

Very proud of the Celtic players for the performances they gave. Maeda must be one of the fittest players in the world, his energy and speed are incredible and Bayern struggled with him in both games. If only his finishing was as good The atmosphere after our goal at Celtic Park was the loudest I’ve seen in a long time. Hopefully with performances like this we can show players that we are a good destination to build their reputation, especially now we have started investing more money in the squad. Seeing teams like Club Brugge and Feyenoord reach the last 16, there’s no reason we can’t in the future. It’s almost a shame we’ll basically never play in the Europa League because I believe we’d be capable of winning it.

About Bayern I don’t know why they still persist with Sané, Gnabry and Coman as wingers. None of them are capable of playing two good games in a row, they’re so unreliable. Robben and Ribery would spend half the season injured but would always play at a world class level when available. Olise is a fantastic player IMO and a step in the right direction but Kane really needs better finishers around him to get the best out of his intelligence and playmaking abilities.
