on my travels around this site, i have found a great many players that are listed as left footed (eg. Side: LF/BS) who, with a very basic bit of research or knowledge of the player (because i am old enough to remember!), are found to be right footed

take tom lund, for example...

he is listed as left footed with perfect WFA/WFF ratings

tom lund was, of course, a right footed player who didn't use his weaker left foot very much... there are many videos to be found of his general play and set piece delivery, all of which utilize his stronger right foot

my question is this: am i missing something here? is there some reason i am not aware of why so many right footed players are being listed as left footed and having their weaker foot stats bumped up? is there a possible problem with automatic translation (i don't know the default language of the forum, but i presumably have it set to display in english)?

i am becoming concerned at how many threads i am pointing out the incorrect favored foot of players, and wondering whether there is something i am missing...

the posters here seem very knowledgeable about players, and i can't help but wonder why such a basic piece of information as which foot is their strongest should be a problem

can anyone advise me what i'm not seeing?
