Hey guys, as we had the same thread four years ago, I thought it would be a good idea to have one for the 2018 WC as well  What teams do you consider as favorites on the cup? Who will be the stars of the tournament? Russia opened the tournament with a 5:0 against Saudi Arabia. Beautiful goals by Cheryshev, especially the second one

Belgium showed strenght today. But their defence sure has problems. Now Brazil can face a real challenge. Lets see how well goes Neycry.

I don't see Belgium as overrated, all I see is people criticising them for underperforming. You can't be overrated if nobody actually rates you. Everyone knows they're a very talented team that just haven't met expectations yet, hopefully they'll prove their doubters wrong!

Belgium has great individualities but in my opinion they are not the same good as a team. However they may win the cup. I mean, this has been the cup of surprises!

Fantastic performance and result by Belgium! Lukaku, Hazard, Fellaini and Courtois were all excellent. I have a feeling that whoever wins between Belgium and France will win the whole thing...
