Just asking, since the thread of Barcelona All Stars is locked, I would like to know why Johan is in the first team, i mean he was a beast as a player but his best years were spent in Ajax and in his first year in Spain, the following seasons were frustrating and nothing successful, and I think that his biggest impact on FC Barcelona was in the role of coach not as a player.

In that case, the "love from the fans" comes to play.
And is not secret that Cruijff was their "pretty boy" as a player, regardless of the titles he bring/din not bring to Barça.

I just gradually started to lose the interest in AS teams based on a NT, since there are too much subjectivity on the topic.
How many said that Ferrer is more iconic RB for Barça ahead of Dani Alves? Or that in the Brazil starting eleven Nilton and Djalma are ahead of Cafu/Roberto Carlos? Oh come on, be serious.
Do you actually believe that Javier Zanetti is not gonna be present in any serious Inter best XI?
Isn't someone like Wayne Rooney rightfully deserving a place in Manchester United AS?
