Same value.
- Defense -> Defensive Prowess
Same value.
- Balance -> Physical Contact
Same value. The new Body Control value though has to be higher for short and agile players who also possess remarkable dribbling skills.
- Top Speed and Acceleration -> Speed
I do the average between TS and ACC and use the result. I then round up or down when the result is decimal giving priority to TS.
- Response -> Ball Winning
Regarding defenders, defensive midfielders and central midfielders I use the same old gen value. I do some maths for any other position.
I give BW 40 to any player who has RES less than 70. Then 70-71 is 41, 72 is 42 etc. until a maximum of 69.
However, I go higher with players who have high DEF and/or covered also defensive positions. Let's hypothesize that an AMF who can also act as DMF or even defender has DEF 70 and RES 77. I would personally find weird to give him DEF 70 and RES 47. Therefore, in such cases I go for RES 67 or 77 depending on his real playstyle ─ for example if he used to also win balls or not rather than being simply a playmaker.
- Agility -> Explosive Power
Same value.
- Dribble Accuracy -> Dribbling
Same value.
- Short Pass Accuracy -> Low Pass
Same value.
- Long Pass Accuracy -> Lofted Pass
Same value.
- Shot Accuracy -> Finishing
Same value.
- Shot Power -> Kicking Power
Same value.
- Shot Technique -> ?
This stat disappeared. I replace it with special cards or abilities like Long Ranger, First Time Shot, Rabona, Acrobatic Finishing, Acrobatic Clear etc. depending on the player.
- Free Kick Accuracy -> Set Piece Taking
Same value as FKA even though I believe that SPT may refer also to corners.
- Swerve -> Curve
Same value.
- Heading -> Header
Same value.
- Jumping -> Jump
Same value.
- Technique -> Ball Control
Same value.
- Aggression -> ?
This stat disappeared. I replace it with special cards or abilities like Reaction/Marauding, Free Roaming, Hole Player, Offensive Fullback, Roaming Flank etc. for players with an AGG value that I consider high enough for his position.
- Mentality -> ?
This stat disappeared but I replace it with Fighting Spirit for players who have high MEN (something like from 85 onwards) or were considered as fighters who kept playing at high level for the whole match.
- Teamwork -> ?
This stat disappeared. I replace it with any card that has something to do with leadership or being a specialist at setting up the action depending on position when a player has good or high TW (in this case at least yellow value).
- WKA/WFF
1-2 -> 1
3-4-5 -> 2
6-7 -> 3
8 -> 4
- Condition/Consistency -> Form
I do the average between COND and CONS. I then round up or down when the result is decimal giving priority to COND. Using simply the COND value though is also in my opinion a valid option.

From PES 2020:
Spoiler: show
- Top Speed and Acceleration -> Speed and Acceleration
Same values since ACC was added back.
- Agility -> Tight Possession
Same value.
- Aggression -> ?
This stat disappeared. I replace it with special cards or abilities like Reaction/Marauding, Free Roaming, Hole Player, Offensive Fullback, Roaming Flank etc. for players with an AGG value that I consider high enough for his position.
The new Aggression stat is about defense. Therefore, I'd give it higher value to aggressive tacklers and hot-heads.
The rest is the same as PES 2019.

A separate discussion has to be made for goalkeepers.
Spoiler: show
- Regarding technical attributes like Dribbling Accuracy, Shot Accuracy, Technique etc. I give the same value as the old gen one. Naturally, every value under 41 becomes 40. However, higher values should be good too since Konami decided to raise them up for goalkeepers.
- I noticed that Konami is giving most goalkeepers a quite higher Defensive Prowess value than Ball Winning ─ only 236 goalkeepers have it superior to 55. Therefore, I give a goalkeeper with, for example, an old gen Defence value of 90 a Defensive Prowess value of 60. On the other hand, if the same is related to Response, I give him 50.
Mikerdead39 mentioned in a post that he uses for Ball Winning the average between DEF and RES. That in my opinion would make that stat way too high. Take in mind that the highest BW for a goalkeeper is 74 in PES 2020 and 71 in PES 2021 and only two goalkeepers in both editions have it.
- I don't go under 50 for Heading. Therefore, any value under 51 is 50. I do that because Konami is giving a quite
high HEA value to goalkeepers ─ higher than what I'd personally give them.
- I usually give all goalkeepers a Body Control value of 60 unless they could also play in other positions. A high value though would also go since Konami does that too.
- Goalkeeping -> GK Awareness
Same value.
- Response -> GK Reflexes
Same value.
- Defense -> Covering/GK Reach
Same value.
- GK Catching and GK Clearing
Mikerdead39 suggestions to give these two stats the same value as GK Awareness are surely valid. However, I personally prefer variety as I already mentioned in a previous post. I give GK Catching higher than GK Clearing to goalkeepers renowned for being able catchers and the other way around for those who were better at rejecting the ball. Otherwise, I give GK Catching higher than GK Clearing to goalkeepers who have GK Awareness as highest value. Another thing I sometimes do is using for these two stats values that have not been used for the other three in relation to the aforementioned variety.

Is there any way to measure Aggression from current PES to old stats? I even thought Mentality was a good substitute, but I came across Pepe, who has 92 Aggression in PES 21 and 74 Mentality here.

I'd say mentality and the actual aggression are the opposite but at the same time can be considered related.
A player with low mentality who was an aggressive hot head should have high aggression in my opinion.
Strangely though Konami gave players like Pepe or Montero less than 80 in AGG. So I don't know how it really works.

Yeah, dude. I thought about Mentality because apparently a lot of players with high Mentality also fit with the current concept of Aggression (Roy Keane, Gattuso, Ramos, Conte, Passarella etc.), I think it can be used as a parameter, but not as a substitute.

Mmh, what if it's actually a substitute though? I mean, I take as example Montero again. I gave him MEN 79 in this forum to balance his combativeness and ability to get himself sent off with a useless foul from nowhere. He actually has AGG less than 80 in PES 2021.

Yes, it may be, not a perfect substitute and identical, but the fact that they have players like the examples I cited above shows that it's more than a coincidence. I think it depends on the case.

Thanks Interista93 for your great explanation but i think Agility it's not the same as Tight Possession, accually it's more related to Technique and Dribble Accuracy.
Let's take examples: Dennis BERGKAMP had here 85 as Agility, but in Konami stats he had as Tight Possession 96, 99 TEC and 92 DA (so i think Tight Possession is the mixture between TEC and DA and little bit of Agility) because it's naive to player like RIQUELME had 75 as Tight Possession.
Otherwise in my opinion, Agility is more attached to Body Control(Balance in Konami 2020 stats).
For the Shot Technique, Interista93 said that replaced with abilities(Rabona/Chip shot control/Rising Shots/Dipping Shot).So, the question here what about addition more abilities in this forum, even for the new stats upcomming, for players like Captaincy(Important for players who had low MET and TMW like Uruguay captain Paolo MONTERO),No Look Pass and the others, even for Goalkeepers(GK Low Punt and GK High Punt).
So, what do you think ?

You're welcome! By the way, your reply made me think of something. Lionel Messi has Acceleration 92 and Agility 96 in PES 2011 (the last title with the old gen stats). Body Control was introduced in PES 2017. Messi has Explosive Power 92 and Body Control 95 in 2018. Some sources even refer to Explosive Power as Acceleration. In fact, Acceleration was reintroduced in PES 2020, replacing Explosive Power. That leads to the conclusion that then Body Control corresponds to Agility. Tight Possession is definitely Dribbling Speed since it's in Dribbling section and most Goalkeepers have it lower than 60. Therefore, there's no need to make useless average values anymore. Thanks for making me notice that!
Regarding adding abilities in the sets, I don't think that would be a bad thing. After all, there are sets who have them. Maybe it'd be best though to specify between brackets what PES we're referring to.

wow, so i wasn't wrong after all. I think the reaction of Agility and Body Control is similar to Mentality with the current Aggression. They are not EXACTLY the same thing but there is a similarity between players who have high X and also have high Y. One interesting thing he said and it reminded me of something else.

When a player has high ST (85+) I give Acrobatic Finish and First-Time Shot in Player Skills.

player with high HEA (85+) I give Heading in Player Skills.

Player with high Curling (90+) I give Knuckle Shot and Dipping Shot (the exception in this case of Dipping Shot is just Didi).

For Tight Possession I only give the same value as Dribbling.

I think that's it.

I agree with almost everything. However, high ST doesn't necessarily mean that a player should have both. Being able to score first time doesn't mean being also able to hit a bicycle from nowhere, for example. Also, the First Time Shot ability existed in the old titles as well since 1-touch Play was probably referred to both passes and shots. I never though about Knuckle Shot and Dipping Shot for players with high curling. That's a nice suggestion. I wouldn't relate Mentality to Aggression. It's true that Mentality is related to how long the player can do well against fatigue and the percentage of mistakes but Aggression simply means the decisiveness of the tackles. High Mentality can definitely be replaced by the Fighting Spirit card. In fact, goalkeepers also have it.

Yes, I just do it for lack of a better number. Agression would be something like "Pressing" and there isn't quite a number for that in the old gen stats. So instead of making up a number, I put MEN, including goalkeepers, as it doesn't really matter, it's not like goalkeepers are going to start acting like CBs :lol:

Well, I was trying to figure out how to measure the new "Aggression" and I saw there's no way. My suggestion to put in the same number as Mentality was totally bullshit, so I tried to do a few things. I thought about dividing the numbers of BAL/RES/DEF, then just BAL/DEF or BAL/RES, but nothing comes to a similar number. I think the solution is to use our own intuition and knowledge to create that number.

Considerations:
•Old defenders (pre-70) tend to have a higher number because of their style at the time.

•High Balance defenders can have high numbers because, irl, this body advantage is often used to "attack" forwards with tight tackles.

Furthermore, the Interista's suggestion is accurate:

Is there any way to measure Aggression from current PES to old stats? I even thought Mentality was a good substitute, but I came across Pepe, who has 92 Aggression in PES 21 and 74 Mentality here.

Wonderful explanation! One question: how would you do the reverse (PES19 to PES6)? Of course, it can be assumed that in most cases, the only attributes that were not mentioned were DS, SPS, LPS, ST, AGG, MEN and TWK
