Let's do some bold predictions! I wonder how many I will guess correctly.

Can't make a prediction, unlike in the past two WCs where Germany and France were clear favorites, the competition seems quite balanced for this one.

I'm in for the memes.

Indeed. I would say the three last WCs. Including Spain in 2010.

Anyway. I already made a simulation and it is quite different than the Interista's one. I will do it again soon and post here.

I highly doubt that French will go out in group stage, IMO they're clearly the top favorites with most of the WC winning squad still beeing present + Benz in the form of his life + new talented guys like Diaby, Tchouameni or Camavinga. Of course they didn't perform that well in Nations League but IMO the main reason for that were some of the obscure experiments by Deschamps. Guendouzi is nowhere good to be a starter for France and how Konaté/Kimpembe can start ahead of Lucas is equally hilarious. It will also be interesting if and how Deschamps uses Nkunku: In the last games for France he mainly played on the right side while his best games for Leipzig all came at the SS position (and let's face it: If France plays with two forwards, then it will be Mbappé and Benzema for sure).

Don't understand why people really consider Argentina as a favorite now, even at Copa they were lucky that di Maria once again stepped up to save Messi's ass in a big game. If there's a team from South America that I fear it's Brazil, not Argentina. Apart from the usual talent and flair they have bunch of players (especially the Real guys) that will do everything to win the game and that fighting spirit might be a missing piece that they didn't have at the last WCs.

France getting eliminated early is mostly a joke since every World Cup winner in recent memories got out in the group stage.
I also don't see Argentina as a favourite. However, I have the feeling they might actually do it this time.

Poland is gonna disappoint again.
Iran is gonna earn the 2nd place by defeating USA on the last game of the group.
Croatia only qualifies to the next round because Canada beat Morocco on the last game.
England is gonna lose to Senegal on Penalties, because... well.. it's England.
Argentina x Netherlands is gonna be the best game on the World Cup.
Brazil x Germany is gonna be one of the most tactical matches ever.
Brazil x Argentina is gonna be a VERY tense game, with Brazil only winning on Penaties.
France is gonna win every single game until the finals and regarded as clearly favorites, but Brazil is gonna play much better on the final game and will win the WC.
Costa Rica is gonna be the worst team on the tournament.

In your expectations, I see that Senegal and Serbia will be the dark horses of the championship.

I hope you are right about Senegal. They have a great team. I don't know if Serbia has a great team too or not.

I hope Argentina wins the World Cup, but do you really think that the Argentina team can win the tournament or are you just hoping that

I see Serbia being the closest thing to a 2018 Croatia. They do have very good players on Kostic, Tadic, Vlahovic and Milinkovic-Savic. They can get lucky by facing Uruguai and Spain, two good but unstable teams, and may advance on penalties after two draws. The 3rd place is mainly because a see Argentina not even caring about the game after just losing to Brazil.
