D-Line Control and DF Leader could be added here, even MEN could be at 90, this guy certainly didn't lacked leadership or "garra charrua" (as usual with the uruguayans).

Was he really so good at that time? Actually I would have expected such values for a prime set (2009-2014) for him..

DEF could be lowered to 82 (the value that i use)..

For prime set he surely was worth 86 at DEF, for example, compare him with Godin's Atletico set (who has 89), he shouldn't be so far from him..

Well i do the set because some friends send several games from Sao Paulo and i was surprised when i see lugano play , that guy was like maldini (it's just a way to say is ,not at the same level but is comparable in Brasileirao) i forgot added those abilitys , he leadership was amazing and he's amazing concentration , like when he plays against The Strongest in La Paz in the high altitude where he's teammates almost are dieying , and he fight every ball , he was not affect for the altitude condition , for MEN can reach 89-90 and in he's Turkey era 92-93.

I can do some decrease in some values , because i think that in Turkey he was better that in Brazil but , he really deserved some values here.
Don't trust in that pes 5 set many of sao paulo players and others teams are only a view of the guess values that the konami's guys given to they because they dont see then play.

DEF 83-84 , Prime Set is in Turkey Era , and yeah he deserved 86-87 in DEF

I know what you are saying, even at PSG he started to play bad and + injuries, he probably said that due to his perfomances on the NT ;) , those uruguayans may play crap during clubs, but when they play for the Celeste, they increased his perfomance level tendfold :mrgreen:

The only uruguayan that could play equally at bad as both club and NT is Cavani :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

So yeah, picking up from what I said at the 2010WC page, those sets look very strange to me.

2003-2006: I do not agree with SB as a main position. I'm not a são paulino, but I remember very clearly that coaches (mainly Leão, Autuori and Muricy) used to deploy the team with a 3-men backline, usually Lugano playing CB/CWP (not much of an overlapper, tho, but sometimes he could go deep for passes). Maybe SB could be added as optional, I'm not so sure.

Also, I don't know if this set pictures him accurately. Lugano wasn't the most solid and unbreakable defender ever, but he was a crazy fighter. His style of defending, at least for São Paulo, was like "seek and destroy". I'd lower his techical stats (DA/DS/SA/ST/TEC) and raise his HEA (he was a serious aerial menace), AGG, MEN and TW.

I'd switch covering for sliding.

2006-2010/NT: I wouldn't go for 2 separate sets, but I did not watch him much for Fenerbahce/PSG/West Brom, so I cannot tell if he's DEF 86 worthy.

Oh, and his passing was not that bad either. Maybe SPA and LPA could sit on low greens.


I'm going to deliver something more accurate once I finish watching URU at the 2010WC.

He has 84 kg according to world of football , just look at his big biceps LOL I mean Suarez had 84 kg at 181-182 cm , this dude has 188cm

So yeah, here's my attempt at updating those sets, following basically what I said on my last post on this thread. I chose to split them into 03-06 and 07-10 sets. On the 2nd set, I lowered his MEN a bit (NT), but if anyone has anything against it, we could up it back to 95 (a little over the top, IMO).
