INFO:
Patricio Toranzo is a former midfielder. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina (19/04/1982), he started his professional career at River Plate in 2003. In 2007 he joined C.A. Huracán on loan. There he demonstrated his full potential, reaching his highest level. In 2009 he was part of the so-called "Cappa's Angels" team under the managerial direction of Ángel Cappa. In 2010 he joined Racing Club, where he remained for two and a half seasons with irregular performances until the club decided to loan him for one season without charge to All Boys. In the middle of the 2012/13 season he returned to Racing Club, but he was not taken into account. In 2013, Toranzo emigrated to Chinese football, more precisely to Shanghai Shenhua, a team with several Argentines, including Sergio Batista as manager. At the beginning of 2014, he decided to return to Huracán, on loan for six months, and then renew his relationship with the club until December 2015. On his return to the Parque Patricios club, he was a participant and protagonist in the conquest of the Copa Argentina, the promotion to the Primera División, and the 2014 Supercopa Argentina, beating River Plate 1 to 0. On his return to the First Division, Toranzo scored a goal in the derby against San Lorenzo and months later he repeated it by scoring a free kick against San Lorenzo at the Tomás Adolfo Ducó Stadium.

In February 2016, Huracán faced Caracas FC for the Copa Libertadores. After a victorious classification in Venezuela, the team was heading to the airport when the bus transporting them suffered an accident. Toranzo and Diego Mendoza were the most affected by the accident, and Toranzo even had to have the first phalanges of three fingers on his left foot amputated. However, the footballer was able to recover and three months later he went to the bench in a match against Unión de Santa Fe, entering as a substitute at 33' of the second half. In June 2019, he was released along with other Huracán players and joined Almagro of the Primera B Nacional. In January 2020, he joined Club Atlético Ciclón, of the Tarija Football Association, in Bolivia, but in October he decided to return to Huracán, signing a contract until December 2021, the year in which he would finally decide to put an end to his professional activity.
