BalancedINFO:Franco Mussis is an Argentinian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Born in La Plata, Buenos Aires (19/03/1992), Mussis began his professional career at the club of which he is a confessed fan, Gimnasia y Esgrima in 2012. He was part of the Gimnasia team that achieved promotion on May 28, 2013, at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium. In addition to having made public his fanaticism for Gimnasia, he decided to tattoo on his right arm the date of the promotion that he and the club achieved in 2013. In the month of February 2014, Gimnasia sold part of the player's record to FC Copenhagen in Denmark after playing the 2014 Final Tournament for five seasons. With some friendlies with the club, and only one official match in the league, he moved on to loan with a purchase option to Genoa FC of the Italian Serie A. In the Italian club he would make his debut on August 31, 2014, he would enter to play only seven minutes in a 2-1 defeat against SSC Napoli for the Serie A. On December 3, 2014, he played the second and last match in Italy, for the Italian Cup, playing the entire match in the 2-0 defeat against Empoli. After his frustrated passage through the old continent, on January 12, 2015, he became the first incorporation of San Lorenzo de Almagro to face a tough semester and mainly defend the Copa Libertadores won the previous year. His debut in the ciclón was on February 6, 2015, for the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana against River Plate. In 2015 he had few opportunities to play but managed to win his only national title, the 2015 Argentine Super Cup. With the arrival of the new coach, Pablo Guede, in 2016 he began playing as a starter in most of the games and with some good performances. In 2017 he tore his ligaments and did not play for a year. He returned to the field on September 21, 2018, in a match against Patronato in which he scored 3-2 for San Lorenzo to win the match. Since then, he's played one more year at Gimnasia y Esgrima, Atlético Tucumán, tried his luck abroad again at FC Botoșani in Romania and Montevarchi Calcio in Italy, and he is currently playing in Ferro Carril Oeste, in the 2nd Division of Argentina.
