INFO:"The Englishman" was a... controversial footballer. His addiction to alcohol and his bad behavior never prevented him from being one of the best scorers and dribblers in the world in his time. Little recognized even in his country, Dannaher had an incredible ability to pass players, he was fast and he mixed that speed with his dribbling, which was unpredictable, to all this he added great technique and a notable scoring ability.
Dannaher was so good that while he was playing for Tiro Federal, he played a match against Serapio Acosta's Rosario Central team (one of the best goalkeepers of the time), and Acosta saved a penalty. The euphoria was so great that the Rosario goalkeeper's father died of a syncope.
Unfortunately Dannaher died... twice, once when he collapsed in a bar (he would later wake up at his own funeral), and the final time, when he was stabbed in that same bar. The chronicles of an excellent footballer, forgotten and undervalued.
