Info:

- After his first professional experience in Ciclista Lima Association F.B.C between 1926 and 1929, the popular "Manco" arrived at Universitario after some students and people linked to the club made him a proposal to be part of the cream team. This is how he debuted with the Universitario shirt on Sunday, January 19, 1930 in an international friendly match in which the "U" tied 0-0 against Atlético Tucumán of Argentina. That day, the cream fan saw the birth of a leader and reference central defender with quick removal and excellent positioning, who also showed himself to be strong and brave in every play, being one of the promoters of the "cream claw."

- He was the captain and historical reference of the 'U' defensive block in its first years of existence, in addition to being the eldest heir of the Fernández Meyzán dynasty in the cream team, which later brought his brothers 'Lolo' and 'Lolín' to fame. Arturo, also nicknamed 'Manco' for not having a finger on one of his upper extremities, formed a true defensive wall with Víctor Guarderas Lavalle at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, which they called 'Pareja' Tempestad. Likewise, the eldest Fernández was champion with Universitario in 1939 and, as a cream coach, he turned around in 1941, 1945, 1946 and 1949.

Hi, I'd like to ask an experienced team builder: When referring to a defense with a quick exit, should he emphasize speed and acceleration more, or his reactivity?

What does the original text say in Spanish? Maybe that could help.

Spoiler: show

It's hard to say. I have two interpretations of the text:

Either he refers to "quick exit" as "quick exit with the ball." This would slightly influence his DS and, to an even lesser extent, his ACC, but considering the average level of defenders of his era and the low level of his league, I wouldn't go with very high values.

If it isn't that, it would be "quick team exit," and it would influence his SPA and TW equally. Likewise, in both cases, the player should see more RES.
