Info:

- He was a kind of playmaker, a fine conductor who captivated his fans with precise passes and a great reading of the game, who undoubtedly left his greatest mark as the brilliant member of that trio called the Three Kittens (along with "Vides" Mosquera and "Caricho" Guzmán).

- He was a cerebral, technical and exquisite player when it came to playing football, hence his nickname of Maestro. He shone at a great height in Peruvian football and abroad.

- Navarrete passed the ball to Tito Drago, who advanced, eluded Pacheco and then Azcar (Boys' goalkeeper) who came out to meet him and shot with complete confidence. It was a great goal that the fans applauded. This goal started Municipal's "rosary." Four minutes later, an advance by the council forwards ended again with a pass from Navarrete to Drago, who fired a powerful low shot into the corner, leaving Azcar with no chance.

- Naverrete set up Tito Drago. The magnificent “council” winger eludes Lavalle and from the side and at a regular distance shoots a strong low shot that Azcar cannot control.”(3)

- He received a magnificent pass from León and headed towards the rival field. Otero came out to meet him but Drago with a “feint” left him out of action. Tito continued with the ball and on the run he connected with a strong block from 25 meters, and the goalkeeper Diano only managed to scratch the ball.

I am surprised that a Peruvian player is shining so young, since most players in our country tend to "mature late." Peru, at just a few years old, managed to become one of the most outstanding players in the 40s in our local league with 2 titles with Deportivo Municipal and perhaps one of our most technical players along with Luis Guzmán and Vides Mosquera at that time. There may be another one out there, even so I am amazed. Someone may come to me and tell me that there was already someone who made his debut in the Peruvian league at 13, but was not as relevant as Drago.
