INFO

Ettore Marcelino Domingues (São Paulo, December 20, 1898 – São Paulo, September 21, 1972), also known as Heitor, was a Brazilian forward and one of the greatest players in Palmeiras history, still its all-time top scorer.

He joined Palestra Itália (now Palmeiras) in 1916, quickly becoming a starter due to his strength and finishing ability, earning a call-up to the Brazil national team in 1917, where he scored on his debut. In São Paulo, he was a rival of Arthur Friedenreich but also partnered with him in the national team, notably in the 1919 South American Championship, where he scored in the final with a header.

Heitor, who despite his medium height also possessed great agility, led Palmeiras to the 1926–1927 Paulista championships and other titles. In 1928, he was both the top scorer in football and part of the club's basketball team, winning the state championship in 1928 and 1929. In 1929, he even played as goalkeeper for Brazil in a friendly against an Argentine team after both goalkeepers were injured.

For Palmeiras, he played 358 matches and scored 327 goals, averaging 0.91 goals per game.

His versatility, which took him from being a top scorer to playing as goalkeeper for the Brazilian National Team, and being a basketball champion for the club while also finishing as the top scorer in football, continued after the end of his playing career, as he became a very successful referee.

Personal Records:
Top scorer in Palmeiras history
Top scorer in Palmeiras history in the São Paulo State Championship (191 goals)
Top scorer in the history of Parque Antarctica | Palestra Itália | Allianz Parque (185 goals)
Fifth highest scorer in the history of the São Paulo State Championship, behind only Pelé, Friedenreich, Serginho Chulapa, and Feitiço
Record holder for most goals in a single game, scoring six goals on two occasions, and also has two other games with five goals each
20th player with the most appearances in Palmeiras history

I estimated his height with this photo, Arthur Friedenreich (left) is 175, so I assume Heitor is between 176-178
