INFO:Al-Tayib bin Abdul Noor Al-Farsi is considered one of the most prominent Omani football stars of the 1990s, and he was known by the nicknames “Al-Asri” and “Majarani’s favored player”. He began his career with Majees Club before rising to prominence at Al-Bustan Club alongside several notable players. He represented the Omani national team at a very young age and became the youngest player to participate in the 10th Arabian Gulf Cup in 1990, scoring influential international goals, most notably against Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He was distinguished by his ability to play in multiple positions, especially right-back, which earned him the title “the goal-scoring defender” due to his clear attacking tendency. After retiring, he remained active in the sports arena through administrative work, serving as Chairman of the Board of Majees Club for several terms.
